The Nobel Laureate Sir. V.S. Naipaul has produced an expanded corpus of writings comprising fictions and nonfictions. As an author his role purpose is a "Commitment to Deliver the Truth". This he has done more authentically in his nonfictions than in fictions. Nonetheless it is his fictional works which is explored, discusses and scrutinized in exuberance. On the contrary his nonfictions, by and far, remain aloof. Only a few intermittent papers and remarks have appeared discussing either the reputed triology on India or the duo on Islamic countries. The present book, in such a dismal condition, is immensely a promising one. It not only ruminates all the non-fictional works for Sir. Naipaul but also traces the development and perfection of nonfiction as the latest literary genre to be developed. The book doesn’t promise any hypothetical judgement of the nonfictions but it offers a feature analysis of it.
