Hindu Society

Hindu society has undergone changes through the ages. Yet the most salient feature of the social tradition and cultural history is its long and unbroken continuity. The peculiarities of the cultural processes in India are responsible for the relative importance which different social institutions have for the life of the individual Hindu Society today at cross-roads. How this study can restore the Indian social order to peace and harmony is the aim of this book.
