Working Women in Kashmir: Problems and Prospects

Although a lot of work has been done on women’s issues in the world in general and in India in particular, the book entitled "Working Women in Kashmir" is the original, isolated empirical work done on women’s issues in the state of J&K. The work highlights the problems faced by working women in the contemporary Kashmiri society and their adjustment to the conflict situation. The book can be very useful to those working on women’s issues in the state, as well as for the NGO’s and other social institution, students and research scholar, dealing with the women’s issues in general.
