Education For All

Leaders of nine high-population developing countries, viz., Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Nigeria and Pakistan in the Education For All Summit in New Delhi, 12-16 December, 1993, reaffirmed their commitment to make primary education universal and expand learning opportunities for children, young people and adults. The complete texts of the background paper-Education For All in the Ninth High-Population countries: Analysis and synthesis-and discussion Panels-Popular Participation, Mobilization and Decentralization for EFA; External and Internal Resource Mobilization for EFA; India's District Primary Education Project; An Onward March – have been given.
