For meeting the global challenges and internal problems, Second Green Revolution in the form of Rainbow Revolution is the need of the hour. For this Indian Agriculture must be given top priority for diversification of farming from traditional crops to commercial crops and from production oriented to consumption and market oriented agri-product. Consequently, horticulture, floriculture, sericulture, apiculture must be promoted for strengthening agro-industries, agri-business, agri-trade and agri-commerce.
