The present volume is a collection of selected papers presented at the seminar on "Agriculture in Andhra Pradesh: policy, performance and prospects". This volume will be useful to the academicians, policy makers and administrators to take policy decisions to achieve sustainable agricultural development. The focus of the new economic policy in India has been to integrate the economy with the global market. Modernisation and diversification of agriculture help institution building and sectoral growth for the effective management of the delivery systems.
