Species descriptions include details such as distribution, interesting behaviour, differences between the sexes, vocalizations, field characteristics, etc. Written in an engaging style, but without sacrificing scientific accuracy, the book is lavishly illustrated through colour images and has many value added features including glossary of terms, list of endemic birds and references to relevant literature.
