B.L. Vohra born in 1944 in Punjab, joined the IPS Service in 1967. During his service, he has gained wide experience in challenging assignments in various parts of India. He has served in Delhi Police, Punjab Police, BSF, CISF, NSG, CRPF. He has also served as Director General of Manipure Police, Tripura Police, Central Civil Defence and SSB.
