Today we live in an electronic world, where everything is electronic: Our automobiles, our home appliances, even our books, writing tablets and tally sheets. Electronic revolution-the changes that electronic media such as television, radio and now the internet have introduced-has transformed our lives and seriously influenced our culture. It is impossible to assess the impact of electronic revolution on our society because the revolution is not yet complete. The extent and scope is therefore important because we are not as interested in the contents as we are in the way that medium develops and interacts with the whole world.
This encyclopedic publication in five volumes provides a comprehensive account of the implications of electronic revolution in our society. It is designed for new age students, professionals and all who are concerned with modern technology revolution.
