Tsondru – Joyful Effort, presented in the form of a book and a video, documents the process of the walking pilgrimage, tracing the footsteps of the Buddha and generations of enlightened masters. Lama Namgyal, a long-time student of His Holiness the Twelfth Gyalwang Drukpa, with the help of Samten Drolkar, wrote a brief account of this amazing journey. His Holiness's intention of publishing this documentary is to benefit beings, especially those beings who will be reading the book and watching the video, so that they will be encouraged to undertake a walking pilgrimage in the same manner.
