The book Solving Engineering Mechanics Problems with MATLAB is designed as an introductory undergraduate course for engineering students of all disciplines. Engineering mechanics is a multidisciplinary subject and presents a systematic methodology based on mathematical fundamentals and stresses physical system modeling. The classical methods of engineering mechanics are covered in this book.
The numerous worked examples are intended to provide the reader with an awareness of the general applicability of engineering mechanics theory using MATLAB. An extensive bibliography to guide the student to further sources of information on engineering mechanics using MATLAB is provided at the end of the book.
