Love Mumbai is described by its makers as a 'hand-book for the luxury vagabond', and that’s just what this special guide is. It comes in a luxurious silk pouch, as seen in the image on the right.
Truly unique in its presentation and style, this is a beautifully presented guide for the independent-minded traveller with time to spare and money to spend; it will introduce you to the most authentic experiences in Mumbai, all information presented in the book made it there under one simple criterion: if it makes you fall in love with Mumbai, it is included in this book, otherwise it's out. The book itself is divided into various sections such as: Mumbai’s Musts; Delicious; Fabulous; Gorgeous; Adventurous; Wildly Adventurous; Essential; and, Share With Love.
It comes printed on handmade paper and crafted with care by Indian designers and crafts people. The hand-woven silk covers were developed in partnership with Sonam Dubal, the Delhi-based fashion designer; the bookmarks were hand-stitched in Bangalore by Chandrashekar of Metaphor; and the rich red Mysore silk bags that the books come in are by Sonali Sattar of Hidden Harmony.
Printed on eco-friendly and non-bleached handmade paper, with hand-printed Tibetan raw silk cover (known as ‘burrey’ or ‘tsen’; handwoven in South Assam, India). Presented in a handmade silk pouch, the entire production process is child-labour free.
