The first volume of the Recent Advances in Dermatology came out in the year 2004 and the second one in 2007, both of which gained huge popularity. As in the previous volumes, target readers of the book are postgraduate trainees in dermatology and practicing dermatologists, on which basis articles have been selected. The chapters have been designed in a manner, which can enlighten newer advancements in the field of dermatology on the basic platform of conventional knowledge. Attempt has been made to include the topics, which have not that much elaborately discussed in textbooks, such as scabies, arsenicosis, post-kala-azar dermal leishmaniasis, and chemical leukoderma. The authors chosen are also in tune with previous volumes comprising seniors with vast clinical experience and younger with enthusiastic knowledge-appetite as ‘netigens:
