All countries in the world whether developed undeveloped or developing are facing the problem of climate change leading to the threat to human beings on the earth. Nature plays its role but due the human activities affecting the environment have contributed to the Global Warming and Greenhouse effect. All people on the earth have to take preventive and remedial actions to maintain the level of temperature and healthy environment.
Natural calamities like earthquakes Tsunami Floods are creating number of problems in the society. Such calamities cannot be prevented but remedial measures and disaster management will minimize the losses of human beings and physical resources arising out of these natural calamities.

Dr. Anil Kumar thakur, M.A. M.Ed., Ph. D., is a senior faculty member in the Post Graduate Department of Applied Economics and Commerce at College of Commerce, Patna under Magadh University. Many research scholars have obtained Ph. D. degrees under his guidance and supervision.
Thakur has excelled himself in several areas of Economic Policy and Fiscal Management of the Indian Economy. He has also edited more than forty books/journals/souvenirs. Thakur is a matured organizer and architect of Indian Economic Association. He is the youngest Honorary Secretary and Treasurer of Indian Economic Association.
