It has been our objective to present briefly the nomenclature, parts used, historical aspects, habitat, botanical description, pharmacognosy, phytochemistry, ayurvedic properties, pharmacology, safety clinical usage, indications, formulations and dosage of selected Indian medicinal plants, with a limited number of key references.
