The purpose of this book is to summarize the basic concept of electromagnetic radiation coming from the sun and how UV-B radiation affects plants at morphological, anatomical and biochemical levels. Authors have contributed their findings of various deleterious effects of UV-B on two varieties of Brassica sps (Mustard plant) with relevant data and graphs. The book also describes the role of plant growth hormones at various levels and the important role played by these PGRs to overcome the negative impacts caused by ultraviolet radiation. We earnestly believe that the book will be a valuable kit for postgraduate and research students.
