ABOUT THE AUTHOR Charles Lewis

Born in Nairobi in 1967, KAROKI LEWIS was schooled in India and England, before graduating with a first-class degree in economics from the University of Birmingham, In 1997-98 he took a postgraduate diploma in photojournalism form the London College of Printing. Based in London, he currently spends six month of the year in India, which has been the subject for a number of photographic books by him. His work, a mixture of reportage and travel photography, has also appeared in newspapers and magazines internationally. He is represented by Axiom Photo Agency in London, Laif in Germany and Aurora in the US.
