ABOUT THE AUTHOR Anil Bhat
Born in New Delhi, on 18th August, 1951, alumnus of St Columba's School, New Delhi, National Defence Academy and Indian Military Academy, Anil Bhat was commissioned into 19th Battalion, The Madras Regiment on 31st March 1972 and later, transferred to 4th Horse. Hand-picked for posting to Defence Ministry's Directorate of Public Relations in 1998, he raised two of its regional offices at Imphal and Guwahati in 1988 and 1991 respectively. In 1993 he was posted as Public Relations Officer, Indian Army in the capital, from where he took early retirement in April 1999.

Besides this, he also holds the Post Graduate Diploma in Agricultural marketing from Pondicherry University and certificates of “WTo in Agriculture” and “SPS measures under WTO” from WTO, Geneva, Switzerland. He has beenworking as SubjectMatter Speicalist (Agril. Economics) at Krishi VigyanKendra, Poonch of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences & Technology of Jammu (J&K) since 2007.

Dr. Sudhakar Dwivedi is Associate Professor in the Division of Agricultural Economics & Statistics, Faculty of Agriculture, SKUAST-Jammu.He completed his Ph.D. degree inAgricultural Economics fromDr. B.R.Ambedkar University, Agra (U.P.) (Formerly Agra University). He is a recipient of Doctoral Fellowship Award by Indian Council of Social Sciences Research, New Delhi and University Ph.D. Fellowship Award. He has nore than 15 years of teaching experience in the field of Agricultural Economics. Having Specialization in “Agricultural Production Economics/Farm Management and Agricultural Project Analysis.
