ABOUT THE AUTHOR Meena Vaidya Malla

Meena Vaidya Malla, a well known academician is working as professor in the Central Department of Political Science, Tribhuvan University, Nepal. She did her M.A. in first class and Ph.D. from the same Universtiy. She has more than 30 years of teaching experience. She has published a good number of research articles in National Journals of high repute on political culture, socialization, women’s right and empowerment. She has presented a number of seminar papers on National Security, Democracy, Conflict and Women’s land right. Prof. Malla has made remarkable contribution of her research works and thought specially for women’s development. She has served as a member of High Level Task Force associated with Martyr’s under the Home Ministry of Nepal in 2010.
