It should be noted that about ten years ago I undertook a study of the genus Oberonia in Mainland Asia Seidenfaden 1968. Later finds have increased our knowledge of the occurrence of the genus in Thailand, and an attempt has been made to solve some further nomenclatural questions so it seems justified to include Oberonia in the present series even if this means some repetition from the earlier paper.
