Dr. R.K. Soni is presently head of the Department of Chemistry at C.C.S. University, Meerut. He obtained his M.Sc., M.E. (Polymer Technology) and Ph.D. degrees from university of Delhi. He has more than 15 years of R & D and teaching experience and 20 research papers have been published in International national Journals. He has guided 10 M.E. (Projects) and 3 research scholars have been awarded Ph.D. degree and 4 are under submission and supervised research Projects sponsored by UGC and AICTE. His fields of interests are Termal and Photocurable system, plastic waste recyling, Biodegradable Plastics, Process development, High performance Polymers and PVC compound8ing. He has extensively worked on most modern Analytical instruments such as D.S.C., D.P.C, D.M.A., U.T.M., FT-IR, UV Spectrometric etc. He is a member of Academic Council of C.C.S. University, Meerut and is convenoer for research degree Committee and Board of studies for Biochemistry and polymer science and chemicak technology courses.
