This collection of 27 papers, presented at the DVK National Workshop on Moral Theology, seeks to provide reflections on the ethical challenges that we face today in the historical, cultural, religious, socio-political and economic contexts of India. Analyzing trends and methods of theologizing in the country, it discusses at length the Catholic theological ethics in the world today.
Making a comparative study of the place of justice in Catholic and Hindu traditions, it presents a theological-ethical analysis of concern over corruption. It also deals with the ethics in Indian politics, the ethical issues concerning new media, sexual ethics, and the ethics of healthcare.
