ABOUT THE AUTHOR Cheithou Charles Yuhlung

Dr. Cheithou Charles Yuhlung completed his M.A (2002) and Ph.D (2011) from the Dept. of Sociology, North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong. His thesis is titled as 'Indigenous Religion of the Chothe of Manipur: A Sociological Study'. He has worked as Research Associate (2011-12) in an UPE-Project, Dept. of Philosophy, NEHU, and also as Research Assistant (2006) in an evaluation team for an International NGO (IWGIA). He has published few papers in journals (Sociological Bulletin and IOSR) and in few edited books. He is the General Secretary of NEITRA and since 2012 he has been teaching in Women's College, Shillong.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR P.G. Jangamlung Richard

Dr. P.G. Jangamlung Richard completed his M.A, M.Phil and Ph.D (2010) from JNU, Delhi. His thesis is titled as ‘Women in Post-Taliban Afghanistan: Socio-legal Perspective’. He has served as Research Assistant (2009) in NCERT, Delhi. He also served as Project Officer and Research Associate (2012-14) in Dept. of Political Science, NEHU, Shillong. He is the President of NEITRA, and is currently teaching in St. Peter’s College, Shillong.
