Further it analyses the various domestic factors responsible for changes in its foreign policy as well as the external factors that influenced the changes in post-Soviet Mongolia’s foreign policy.
It also discusses at length the adoption of the new post-Soviet Mongolia’s foreign policy of 1994, the determinants of this ‘multi-pillar’ foreign policy and its implications by focusing on the state of relations with the three most important external powers—Russia, China and the US.
