The present volume of Kala as usual includes research papers which cover various aspects of Indian art spanning from ancient to modern times. Some articles deal with interesting sculptures as well as iconography. The iconographic study based on the Puranas is specially noteworthy. The volume includes the articles dealing with the art of Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and also the Vaisna concept of Kasi.
