Wonder Women of India: Beacons of Light to the Next Generation

This book is a Tribute to Women and Womanhood. It chronicles what 33 Indian women have achieved in the 20th century, after Indian Independence. It tells of how they juggled their role of wife, mother and working woman to carve a niche for themselves. Some women entered into a traditionally male bastion, while some others made a difference in their communities, society and the country. This book celebrates the lives of women who did the impossible in some cases and have made an impact on the status of women in the country.
