Arts and Crafts of Indus Civilization (Provincial Art) is the ninth book by Prof. Choodamani Nandagopal, a reputed Art Historian and Ph.D. in History and Archaeology from the Mysore University. Her research projects have a special approach both from the historical and aesthetic point of view. Besides other books, she has to her credit 0 published research papers. She was the first scholar to receive U.K. Visiting Nehru Fellowship in 1992 (in coordination with Victoria and Albert Museum, London) for her research on Colonial Paintings, and UNESCO Fellowship for Silk Road Studies in 1994. She is actively involved in various capacities with several International and National research institutes, universities, museums and art galleries. She is an academician of high repute and served earlier as Head of Citrakala Institute of Advanced Studies and guided doctoral students. At present, she is serving in Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts, Southern Regional Centre, Bangalore.
