This book attempts to explore the nature and direction of the environment development debate through the writings of three women environmentalists who used scientific tools to analyze the formulation of development policies and its necessary consequence and impact upon the lives of people and future generations.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Ajay Arora
Ajay Arora (b. 1984), was born at a village called Sambhli, district Karnal, Haryana. He did his schooling from model school, Nivh Dehradun. Immediately after his intermediate, he came to Delhi University and sought admission in Hindu College in B.A. Hons. History. He did his P.G. in History with specialisation in Modern Indian History. Later he joined Centre for the Study of Law and Governance at JNU as research scholar in M.Phil cum Ph.D. programme. Presently, he is doing Ph.D. from Centre for the Study of Law and Governance Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He has been giving talks and lectures at various Institutions as a guest lecturer. He has presented a number of academic papers at various national and international conferences. His area of research lies in environment versus development and climate change politics. The World of Academics holds his present work in high regard. In the domain of academics, he is highly sought after due to his scholarly work on environmentalism.
