Serendipity and the American Dream: United States` Foreign Policy in a Changing Global Order

The academic work is a scholarly attempt to wade into the dynamics of the American Dream and US Foreign Policy. The Book hews an interesting and innovative narrative to initiate a sympathetic and rational approach and outlook towards the American nation, its people, its establishment, and finally its cultural constructs such as Cinema, Literature and its entire national entourage. The narrative insinuates towards Hollywood`s prime time constructs and comic genres such as the Super heroes and iconography in order to drive home the point of the grandiloquent American dream which has always been a contested nomenclature and trajectory. The narrative also weaves a transnational oeuvre for US foreign policy attempting broad sections on India, South America, West Asia and landmark American interventions such as Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan vis-a vis, the American Overarch and its hyper puissance in the larger international system harking back to the historical underpinnings of the nation`s Founding fathers.
