Awareness of Human Rights in Adolescents

The objective of the book is to bring forth the awareness of human rights amongst the adolescents who are the future citizens of the Indian society. It is indeed the adolescents who will create and decide what is the actual value of these rights. With the awareness of their fundamental and human rights are the adolescents aware of their duties, too? This has proved that law or constitution alone cannot protect the human rights of citizens. Now educationists have given a solution to this problem. They have suggested that human rights education might protect human rights of citizens all over the world. But this target can be achieved when human rights education becomes a compulsory part and parcel of B.Ed./M.Ed. and school curriculum.
