Bibhu Padhi has published eleven books of poetry. His poems and scholarly articles have appeared in distinguished magazines and journals throughout the English-speaking world, such as Encounter, Contemporary Review, Poetry Review, Poetry Wales, The Rialto, Stand, The Atlantic Review, The American Scholar, Colorado Review, Commonwealth, Confrontation, Interpretations, Modern Fiction Studies, Modernist Studies, Philological Quarterly, New Letters, Poet Lore, Prairie Schooner. Poetry, Southwest Review, TriQuarterly, Antigonish Review, Queen’s Quarterly, and The Toronto Review.
They have been included in numerous anthologies and textbooks. Four of the most recent are The Bloodaxe Book of Contemporary Indian Poets, Language for a New Century (Norton), 60 Indian Poets (Penguin), and The HarperCollins Book of English Poetry (HarperCollins).
Also, he has written a book on DH Lawrence (with his wife Minakshi Padhi) and a reference book on Indian Philosophy and Religion.
