ABOUT THE AUTHOR I. Sobha
Dr. I. Sobha is Associate Professor in the Deparatment of Women’s Studies, Sri Padmavathi Mahila Viswavidyalayam, Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. She took her M.A. (Sociology) and Ph.D. from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, M.A. (Women’s Studies) from Mother Teresa Women’s University, Kodaikanal and M.Ed. from Annamalai University, Annamalainagar. She has considerable research experience as she has been involved in conducting several research projects funded by University Grants Commission. She has published over thirty research articles in reputed Journals and presented over forty papers in National and International Conferences/Seminars. She has published a book entitled ‘Educated Working Women in Andhra Pradesh’. Her area of interest is Women’s Studies, Gerontology and Ecology.
