ABOUT THE AUTHOR Veena Narain

Dr. (Mrs.) Veena Narain is Reader in Economics in Daulat Ram College. University of Delhi. After her graduation from Indraprastha College (1963) and post graduation from Delhi Schol of Economics (1965), she started her teaching career in Daulat Ram College (in 1965) where she has been teaching since then. Mrs. Narain completed her Ph.D. from Delhi School of Economics in April, 1987. Her thesis 'U.S. Financial Aid and India's Economic Growth' was published in 1988. Some of her papers have been published in the annual conference Volume of Indian Economic Association.
