ABOUT THE AUTHOR Ratandeep Singh

Ratandeep Singh is Senior Consultant in Hospitality Services, a well-known infrastructure development and consultancy organization in the tourism sector in India. He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata and has worked for over twenty years with leading hotel chains. He has also obtained a Degree in Proficiency in Purchases from the Luceme School of Travel Management, Switzerland. He has been associated with the HTC publicity and promotion campaigns and has also served as Adviser (Information) to the Tourism and Hospitality sections of international trade fairs in Singapore and Bologne, Italy. He has contributed several papers and articles to journals and at conventions and conferences in the travel and tourism industry. His most widely read paper on “Linkages in Infrastrcutural Development in Tourism industry” has been accepted as standard teaching material in schools and institutions.
