In this new venture, she treads a fresh path, and gives us a historical play based on the Ramayana, Jambudvipa and Lanka. Parts I and II are laid in India; Part III takes us to Lanka, but returns to happy India, welcoming back her Rama and her Sita. The story of Shri Rama is told in conversations between the characters and the play should prove bright and interesting. It is not beyond the powers of the clever boys and girls born into India and inspired by the exquisite story of the Ideal King and His faithful Queen. I hope that the drama will have the success it deserves, and inspire many a young heart to heroism, truth and love.
