This book The Occultism and Spiritualism of the Hindus provides practical guidance on Raja Yoga, Hath Yoga, Concentration, Meditation and ‘Spiritualism’–the science of contacting and receiving messages from the spirits of the other world.This compilation consists of two parts: Part I: Hindu Occultism: This contains the revised version of the most beautiful and comprehensive earlier book The Occult Training of the Hindus 1931 which lucidly explains the seven kinds of Occultism–the three Raja Yogas and four Hatha Yogas and practical guidance on concentration and meditation in a proper manner. Part II: Hindu Spiritualism–The Science of Contacting the Spirits-This contains a hither to unpublished over fifty years old manuscript ‘A Complete, Guidance on Hindu Spiritual Culture’ of the erstwhile Spiritual Healing Center, Coimbatore (new closed since 1965). There are 18 lesson on Spiritualism–the science of contacting the spirits of the other world, the science which teaches us the art of living not only pertaining to this world, but also the life in consonance with our past and future births or our existence in the spirit world as directed by Karma Sutra. It describes how spirits can be contacted by using the methods of Table Tilting, Planchette writing, Ouija Board, impulsive writing, utomatic writing, inspired speech, trance speaking. It also gives practical hints how spirit messages should be obtained. There are very few practical books on Hindu Occultism and there is absolutely no book on spiritualism–the science of contacting the spirits. Therefore, the present publication will be of deep interest to all those Sadhakas and spiritual-who wish to learn the various Yogas and the science of contacting the spirits of the dead persons-their own relatives as well as other friends and benevolent spirits, in order to learn the secrets of the other world.
