ABOUT THE AUTHOR Alauddin Azizi
Dr. Alauddin Azizi is a senior lecturer on the Faculty of Social Science, Veer Kunwar Singh University, Agra. He is presently working in the P.G. Department of Political Science at S.P. Jain College, Sasaram. Born in 1964 at village Quazipur near Bhojpur in the Buxar district and educated at Sasaram based Millat Urdu High School and S.P. Jain College from where graduated with Hons. And did his M.A. in Political Science from Magadh University, Bodh-Gaya, Gaya. He obtained is Ph.D. degree in 1996 on his thesis “Socio-Political Ideas of Abdul Qaiyum ansai: A Critical Study from M.U. He had been debator par excellence and won a number of awards/prizes. His papers and articles have appeared in the prestigious journals and newspapers. He has participated in many national seminars and conferences and delivered talks over All India Radio, Patna and Sasaram. He is founder-editor of the ‘Rohtas Samachar’. He edits a journal ‘Asian Vision’ (a bi-annual journal completely devoted to the Social Sciences).
