ABOUT THE AUTHOR N.G. Pawar
N.G. Pawar, born on October 2, 1935 at Warud District Amravati (Maharashtra), the author has at his credit 42 years service in education in the capacity of Teacher, Lecturer and Principal in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. He obtained his graduation and post-graduation degrees from Nagpur University except B.Ed from Sagar University (M.P.) He was a teacher for 10 years at Municipal Higher Secondary School, Pandhuran, District Chhindwada (M.P.); a Lecturer in Education for 28 years at Shri Shivaji College of Education, Amravati (M.S.) and a Principal for 4 years on Indian and foreign educationists. ‘Mahatma Jyotirao Fule-Father of Indian Social Revolution’ is his outstanding contribution to identify Mahatma Fule as Educationist and Social Revolutionist. Besides English and Marathi writings he has a good command on Hindi language to be identified in ‘Bhartiya Samaj Kranti Ki Vichardhara aur Usake Pravartak’ and ‘Mulya Shiksha-Sarvattam Jeewan ka Yashodeep’. (a book on Value Oriented Education). His books are famous for clarity of thought, optimistic view of life with critical and comparative discussion of the subject.
