The Rural and Urban Aged

The problems of the aged have attracted serious attention of sociologists and social psychologists in the recent years. In the west a number of scientific studies have been published in this area but there is a dearth of such studies in India. Randhawa’s exposition of the life, problems and possibilities of the aged in both rural and urban areas is well documented, tabulated and researched.
