Our society can contribute significantly toward accomplishment of the goal to provide quality education for all in such a way that social fabric is strengthened. This book fabric is strengthened. This book describes the concept of social consciousness, social behaviour and secularism in educational perspectives. Education and society are closely related to each other. In this book an attempt has been done to develop the skills of social problem solving, social cognition, social consciousness, social behaviour and secularism through jurisprudential inquiry strategy of teaching.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Rekha Singh
Dr. Rekha Singh is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Education at the M.M.P.G. College, Kalakankar, Pratapgarh (Ram Manohar Lohia Awadh University). She received her M.A. in ancient History (gold Medalist) and M.Ed. from University of Allahabad. She was a Junkor Research fellow in ERIC Research Project and active member of UGC major research project. She received her D.Phil in teaching technology. She had participated in the workshop of UGC on computer education for teachers and developed a tool for measuring social cognition and presented her research papers on so many National Seminars.
