The dawn of the 21st century witnessed a spectacular escalation in terrorism. After the terrorist attacks on the US on Sept. 11, 2001 terrorism has become the world’s top priority. In this book the author argues that unfortunately, a section of the people have been attempting to divert the attention from the main causes of the problem of terrorism and holding the Islamic faith responsible for its emergence and escalation. Having presented various dimensions of terrorism, which has been the subject of worldwide debate. The book seeks to expose the biased against Islam and misunderstanding about its concepts, from the Qur’an and citing the sayings and practices of Prophet Muhammad, the author endeavours to establish that Islam preaches peace and is against terrorism. The author hopes that the book will help the general readers to better understand islam, the system of madrasa education and concepts like Jihad.
