ABOUT THE AUTHOR Mohammad Shabbir
Mohammad Shabbir is promising and serious law researcher. Commencing his professional career as an Assistant Professor in 1978 at the Aligarh Muslim University, in 1986, he was elevated to the position of Associate Professor and later on appointed a professor of Law. He was adored by coveted position 'Ambedkar Chair Professor of Law', created by Dr. Ambedkar Foundation, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, government of India in 1992. In this capacity, he is the incharge and holder of Dr. Ambedkar Chair of Legal Studies and Research at the Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University. he was also Visiting Professor at the International Islamic University, Malaysia. He is a prolific writer and has authored and edited several books in his areas of specialization. Besides, he has published numerous articles and research papers in national and international law magazines and journals. He is also the founder-editor of law journal Quest for Justice.
