ABOUT THE AUTHOR Chandidas Mukhopadhyay

Chandidas Mukhopadhyay M.A. (First Class) Ph.D. Reader, Dept. of Political Science, Ramananda Centenary College, Laulara, Purulia, (B.U). He was full time lecturer in Rishi Bankim ch. College, Naihati (C.U.) and visiting lecturer to the P.G. Dept. of Sociology (B.U). The author of books and articles on Politics and Sociology, Dr. Mukhopadhyaya spends his professional life in teaching and research. He is actively engaged in research works on Primitive and Marginal Tribes of West Bengal. His other Publications include: Kharia-the victim of Social Stigma (K P Bagchi, 1988). He has published several papers in the Journals of social Science (Asian Studies, Folklore, socialist Perspective) as well as books in Bengali version.

Prof. Kamakshya Charan Pal M.A. in english and Philosophy is Ex-Reader and Head of the Dept. of English, Kendrapara College and Rayagada College (Orissa). Prof. Pal also taught Indian culture in Kendrapara College. Prof. Pal is an erudite man with versatile knowledge and contribution in different fields.
