The management of student-learning in schools focuses instructional objectives to be related to decisions that teachers and students make in a class room. Students’ cognitive structures, learning experiences, instructional and nurturant effects, feedback mechanism and instructional objectives are not only inter-related and internally related components in learning environment but also all these in combination forms a highly complicated ‘instructional System’ which is intimidating to many teachers, students and school administrators. But it is true that if a teacher is truly to be a manager of learning, he must perform functions other than those performed by students, school administrators and parents and his repertoire must include Cognitive, Affective and Psychomotor Skills. He needs to be able to carry out those functions which will allow him to make more effective decisions for the students. The book will undoubtedly assist the teachers to make the correct decisions for students, class room learning, and develop the appropriate, responsive professionalism keeping theory of minimum level and emphasizing on actions and operations of the teachers in class room.

Dr. Bijaykrishna Jana is currently at the Tagore Govt. Collage of Education, Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Island, born in 1948 in West Bengal. He is an eminent scholar. He received his M.Sc.
(Maths), M.Ed, (First Class) MHR, MADE (appearing), M.Phil (Edn; First Class: Maths), Ph.D. (Edn.), D.Litt, (Submitted), B.Sc (Distinction), BA, Bed. (PG) (1st Class), Specialisation in Mental Retardation from various Indian Universities and Organisation. His Memberships include. The United Writers Association, Madras, American Biographical Institute Inc. Institute of Technology and Management System, Research Association’s Board. He works as a guide for M.Phil (Education) and Ph.D. The author worked as a coordinator to the relief camp., GDMS (Primary , Middle Point, Port Blair. He is currently engaged on Network Analysis in various Educational programmes and Post-mortem Analyses students’ performances.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Mukul Jana
Mrs. Mukul Jana is a special educator at the State Institute of Education, Port Blair. Born in 1953 in Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Island, She received BA from Punjab University; B.Ed from the University of Utkal, M.Ed. (IEVH) (First class) from Bharathier University, M.Phil (Education) (First Class) from Alagappa University with Specialisation in Special education from NCERT. She published more than 51 paper including three research papers in various Indian Journals and is presently engaged on the growth of Temperamental qualities and non-temperamental abilities in visually Handicapped Children from early childhood to late adolescence.
