Relation between tourism and environment is complex and complicated. Threat to the environment threatens the viability of the tourist industry. The environmental impacts are mainly related to resources consumption, pollution, waste generated by tourism activities, beaches, mountains, rivers, and forests. Aim of this book is to provide to our readers with study reports, articles, deliberations of conferences and reports of W.T.O. and other international organizations on the various aspects of the subject. This should enable our reader to understand the subject in appropriate perspectives. Effort has been made to make the book useful to the students and teachers as well.
