Advances in computer applications and information systems have created new opportunities as well as challenges to the journalism resources. Information support systems are designed in a way to help solve some of the concerns and challenges of managing information resources on persons, groups and organizations. Without doubt, support systems are the key topics for current and future research efforts aimed at maximizing the management of information resources induced electronic journalism as a new trend in the news services that have recently been boosted by internet diffusion.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Rahul Singhai

Rahul Singhai obtained his Masters Degree in Criminology and Forensic Science in 1996 and did his Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication from Dr. Hari Singh Gaur University, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh in the year 2005. Adding to his qualifications, he did diploma course in Computer Applications. Presently he is pursuing his research work on 'Journalism in Bundelkhand Region-A Study' at Bundelkhand University, Jhansi. During his career, he was worked as a Lecturer, Bhaskar Institute of Mass Communication, Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, Dainik Bhaskar, Indore and Lalitpur News Network. In forensic science, he has worked as a Handwriting and Fingerprint Expert at Indore and Lalitpur. Currently he is working for Dainik Bhaskar, Jhansi.
