Having required the primary education, parents are confronted with the through ‘which is the short-term, economical and most benefiting course to be adopted for our children?’. The reason behind this thought is the dazzling multitude of ‘Ads’ displayed and running on screens and papers every now and then. Since Information and technology (IT) has brought about a complete revolution in the educational worlds, and the discipline, as a whole, is impossible for one person to have a grasp on, it has been divided into several sub-branches. Every branch has its own advantages and brickbats and of course of distinct flavor. Therefore students are at liberty to opt for any flavor as per their aptitude. Here is needed the role of Guidance. At this stage, if proper choice is not made, it renders the life of a student tense and unsatisfied, leading to mental chaos. If, on the other hand, proper consultation and advice is sought before making a final decision, it pays a lot in the long run. This modest work is a step in the same direction.
