ABOUT THE AUTHOR D.K. Roy
Dr. Dilip Kumar Roy, would like to introduce himself as a Museologists. He is born in 1953, graduated with Honours and completed M.Sc. in Anthropology, and also awarded Ph.D. degree in Anthropology, and also awarded Ph.D degree in Anthropology. He has published a large number of scientific articles in different journal repute and participated in various seminarts, symposiums and workshops. He has trained in preparatory course organized by Indian College of srts and Draftsmanship, Calcutta in programmes organized by Social Worker’s training Institute of S.C. and T.W. Department, Government of West Bengal in 1979. besides, he has completed certificate course on basic Electronics from Adult Continuing education center, Jadavpur university, Calcutta, west Bengal, 1987. secured second position in In-Service training course on Museology, conducted by India Museum, Calcutta, west Bengal, 1990. Participated in a basic computer course organized by new Age Computers, Salt Lake City, 2000. He has experienced in NGOs of National repute, which is not less than seven years. Bedsides, he has also experienced in museum activities with day to day museum work, which is covering more the twenty years. The author is experienced in research and development, project Planning and Evaluation, Documentation and Training programmes. Also he is proficient in Action Research, Museology, Ethnography, Drawings and Photography.
