This study embodies a period research on communalism in India a facet of the Indian sub-continent. It’s virulent form still affects one personally and in its geo-political context. This historical study is based on an investigation of the secondary sources, which are available in the form of published official and non-official reports, periodicals, research journals. Presidential addresses of various political parties and other published material that had a direct bearing on the problem during the British Raj.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR Satish Chandra Seth
Dr. Seth is a Scientist, Administrator and a liberal scholar of repute. He has been the prime mover of the Futurology Movement in India. He holds two Ph.Ds from Agra University and Manchester University (UK). He has been the Member Secretary of the Futurology Panel of the Government of India (1978-1981). He is a fellow of the World Federation of Futures Studies and member of the World Futures Society. He is also the Founder Member of the Indian Society of Training and Development (ISTD), The Indian Council of Management and Future and the Centre of Anticipatory Management. He has delivered lectures in several universities in the UK, the USA and China. In Futurology his major contribution has been the 'Seth-Harva' Method of Scenario Building, which is now a standard methodology adopted all over the world.
