An American Passion play is a satirical representation of a culture that has been very much in existence since the early sixties in the United States of America. It is in truth the expression of those who wanted a freedom of expression as guaranteed in the American Constitution. This freedom includes the practice of the religion of ones choice and the practice of the rituals therein. It reflects upon the use of certain substances that have been in use for centuries by almost all societies as a means of communication with our origins. These feelings and emotions still hold good today and the continuing fight against draconian laws which date back to a different era still goes on. This does not mean to say that the author or publisher with to misguide the youth of today. This is simply and statement of things as they are. It is a plea for us to go back to more natural ways of life living in harmony and understanding with all forms of life on this planet.
